How to test
- Use a blank page marked “TEST FAX”, or download our printable test page.
- Send from your fax machine, external service or active SingleFax number. Keep the transmission report. SingleFax sends use your normal credits or plan allowance.
- Check the gallery for the checked copy. If eligible, a receipt gives you a private view code. Active SingleFax numbers can receive the optional receipt through normal account receiving.

A missing gallery copy can mean it was hidden by checks. A successful fax transmission and public publication are separate outcomes.

- What should I send?
- A harmless test page with no personal, account, financial or medical information. A public test line is unsuitable for real paperwork.
- Will I get a fax back?
- A receipt is optional and limited to eligible geographic numbers in the US and Canada. It requires a successful text check, five pages or fewer, available capacity and the daily budget. A completed send does not guarantee a fax back.
- How do I view the original?
- Use the private link and ten-character code printed on your receipt. Your sender number alone cannot unlock a document. All access ends after 72 hours.
- How do I remove a public copy?
- Open its detail page and request removal. Ordinary requests require email confirmation. Privacy and medical reports receive priority admin review. Opening an email link alone does not remove a fax.
