SingleFax Refund Policy
Last updated:
SingleFax is a digital service. There are no physical returns. This page is the refund policy for every product we sell.
At a glance
Sent faxes
Pay on success. Failed delivery releases the hold — you are not charged. Delivered faxes are not refunded.
Fax numbers
30-day money-back on lifetime, monthly/annual plans, 30-day inbound numbers, and EIN fax numbers. Request from your dashboard.
If we cannot provision
If we charge you and then cannot assign a number or complete an EIN application, we refund automatically. You do not need to ask.
IRS form filings
Form 2553, 5472, and 7004 are not self-serve refunds after checkout. A fax already sent to the IRS cannot be recalled.
Sent faxes
Retail send uses a preauthorization hold. If the fax is delivered, we capture the charge. If delivery fails after retries, we release the hold and you are not charged.
Once a fax is successfully delivered, carrier costs are incurred. We cannot refund a delivered fax — including the wrong number or a change of mind. Double-check the destination before you send.
Email-to-fax, WhatsApp-to-fax, API, MCP, and machine payments follow the same rule: charged on successful delivery, not refunded after delivery.
Fax numbers and plans
You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase for:
- Lifetime fax numbers
- Monthly or annual fax plans
- 30-day inbound numbers
- EIN fax numbers (the inbound number held for the IRS reply)
Requests are reviewed within 1–2 business days. If we approve, we refund Stripe, cancel any active plan, and remove the number from your account. We release the number from the carrier before the next carrier bill — it is not deleted the moment you request a refund.
After 30 days, you can still cancel a subscription or release a lifetime number. That stops future billing or inbound service. It does not refund charges already captured.
EIN by fax
An EIN purchase is eligible for a refund request within 30 days. If we already faxed Form SS-4 to the IRS, we cannot unsend it. A refund releases the inbound number we held for the IRS reply.
If we cannot provision the number or complete the application after payment, we refund automatically.
IRS Form 2553, 5472, and 7004
These filings are a fill-and-fax service. They are not in the 30-day self-serve refund window. If transmission fails, email info@singlefax.com and we will look at the order. A form that was successfully faxed to the IRS cannot be recalled or refunded as a change of mind.
Prepaid credits
Credits spent on a delivered fax follow the sent-fax rule and are not refunded. Unused credit packs are not in the dashboard self-serve flow. Email info@singlefax.com within 30 days of purchase and we will review.
How to request a refund
- Sign in and open Orders, Numbers, or Billing.
- Choose the purchase and select Request refund.
- Tell us why. We review within 1–2 business days and email you.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks often take 5–10 business days to show the credit.
If you cannot sign in, email info@singlefax.com with the email used at checkout and the order or fax number.
Chargebacks
If something went wrong, ask us first. We can usually refund or fix an eligible order faster than a card dispute. Opening a chargeback may pause the account while we respond to the bank.
