How long does a fax take to send?

How does the 30-day fax number work?

Receive is a separate $4.99 product. You get a dedicated fax number for 30 days with PDF delivery to email plus a searchable transcript and key fields on paid numbers. Optionally pick a state so the number looks local. The first received fax is included. Extra received faxes are from $0.99 (up to 10 pages, then about +$0.08/page, same as send). Does sending include a temporary number?

No. Standard send uses our shared U.S. outbound line. Buy a monthly or lifetime number separately if you need to receive faxes.

Yes. Email actual document attachments to send@fax.delivery with the fax number in the subject. Follow the reply to review the packet and complete checkout. Sending an email does not automatically spend credits or transmit the fax.

What happens after 30 days?

Your receive number expires unless you optionally keep it forever with Lifetime Basic $97 or Pro $147. Lifetime still meters extra received faxes from $0.99 (same page extras as send; starter credit included). Monthly plans include received faxes in the page pool.

What if the destination is busy or the machine is off?

We retry most sends up to 4 attempts over ~10 hours (immediately, then 1h / 3h / 6h). Busy and no-answer start again at 5 minutes, up to 15 times. Review the pricing FAQ for failed-delivery payment terms.
